Made possible by a transformational $10 million gift from the Maguire Foundation, this future state-of-the-art hub of healthcare innovation will address the healthcare needs of today and tomorrow, with the goal of improving access and equity for all.

Renovated Valley Pizza & Bread Co.
Reopened Fall 2024
The first floor of the Waldron Center has a bright and airy new look! Come order a delicious personalized pizza, sandwich, snack, and your favorite Starbucks beverage or soda. We've added additional space for hanging out with friends between classes.
Renovated Loyola Hall & Triplex Outdoor Space
Reopened Fall 2023; outdoor spaces completed Fall 2024
In GMercyU's original residence hall for first-year students, every room features new student-controlled air conditioning units, micro-fridges, and new furniture and flooring. (The much-loved and spacious wardrobes were preserved.) Upgrades also included all new lighting fixtures in rooms and common areas, new interior paint, improved lounge areas, and super-fast Wifi throughout the building.
The beautiful new outdoor spaces in front of the Triplex now feature plenty of seating — perfect for an outdoor event (like this!) or just hanging out between classes.

Renovated Frank O. Genuardi Legends Baseball and Softball Fields
Reopened Spring 2024
The long-awaited renovations to GMercyU's baseball and softball fields include new scoreboards, bullpens, batting tunnels, dugouts, backstops, fencing, and a new synthetic field for the baseball team (softball will keep their preferred dirt field). The softball field also features a new warning track.
M.E.R.V's Market in University Hall
Opened January 2023
Refuel between classes at this convenient new spot on the first floor of UHall. Choose from meals-to-go, snacks, drinks, sweet treats, and more — perfect for an afternoon energy boost. Equipped with self-checkout; open during all building hours.
Campus Learning Garden
Built in Spring 2023 and growing
Envisioned and created by GMercyU Public Health students, the garden is a place for students to practice public health while addressing physical health, mental health, and food insecurity. Produce grown in the garden supports Catherine's Cupboard. An adjacent cistern was also built by the GMercyU community to collect rainwater to irrigate the garden.
Evans Road Campus Entrance
Reopened April 2023
GMercyU's Evans Road entrance features improved traffic flow and a new walking trail, offering easier access to campus for Griffins and their guests.
Mercy Center for Service, Spirituality & Justice
Opened Fall 2022
Formerly called Campus Ministry, visit The Mercy Center for Service, Spirituality & Justice in its beautiful new location in Mercy Hall.
