GMercyU Merit Scholarship Funding
Eligible students can receive up to $21,000 in annual scholarship funding from GMercyU. This award is renewable for up to two additional years while you earn your Associate Degree in Respiratory Care (or three additional years if you opt to earn your bachelor's).

Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to determine how much, if any, need-based financial aid is available to you. Federal loan funding also can help lower the out-of-pocket costs of your degree, including costs associated with living on campus if you prefer to do so.
Guaranteed Employment at St. Luke's
After you graduate from GMercyU's Respiratory Care degree program and pass the required licensure exam, you will be guaranteed a position as a Respiratory Therapist at St. Luke's*.
Upon meeting your St. Luke's work requirements, all St. Luke's funding will be forgiven!**
*Allentown, Anderson, Quakertown/Upper Bucks, and Warren locations
**St. Luke's Scholar Program participants must agree to the terms of a St. Luke's Work Commitment Agreement in order to receive the St. Luke's forgiveable loan funding.
Consider a 4th Year to Earn Your Bachelor's Degree
You may choose to continue on at GMercyU to earn your bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care, and receive an additional year of GMercyU Scholarship funding.
Many of our graduates choose to complete year four while working as a Respiratory Therapist.
